What’s Included in Every Mini Session
Mini sessions are booked through our easy online booking portal. You’ll choose the day and time that works best for you—no waiting for email confirmations. Mini sessions are offered across a variety of days and hours, not limited to one single back-to-back session day.
2. Your 15-Minute Photo Session
You’ll arrive at the studio for a 15-minute guided session with one of our in-house photographers. We’ll walk you through natural, flattering poses and groupings so you never have to wonder what to do—especially helpful for kids and families.
3. Image Viewing & Selection
Immediately following your session, you’ll have a 15-minute image viewing where you’ll see your photos right away and select your favorites. Each mini session includes 6 professionally edited images, with the option to purchase additional images if you choose.
4. Same-Day Editing & Delivery
This is what truly sets us apart. Your selected images are edited on the spot and delivered to your online gallery before you leave the studio. No waiting weeks, no follow-up emails—your images are ready the same day.

Our Easter installation will be available February 17 through April 4 and features a Spring Flower Crates Rustic Door with String Lights Backdrop—a soft, timeless spring setup perfect for toddlers, kids, families, and playful Easter portraits. This setup is located in our new installation area and is fully lit with professional constant lighting set at ideal settings, allowing photographers to simply show up and shoot—no flash or lighting adjustments needed—while giving clients a stress-free, beautifully lit session experience. A variety of chairs, seasonal props, and a plexiglass panel (great for cake smashes) are available to customize each session. Whether you’re renting the studio or booking with our in-house photography team, this limited-time installation offers an easy, polished way to capture spring memories. INCLUDED IN YOUR RENTAL!

Is a mini session right for me?
Mini sessions are reserved specifically for you and require advance preparation. For this reason, mini session bookings are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please refer to the terms outlined at booking or contact us as soon as possible—rescheduling options are subject to availability.
What is your cancellation or reschedule policy?
We provide a variety of props for most mini sessions. If you’d like to bring a small personal item, please check the session details or reach out in advance to confirm it’s a good fit.

For the safety of all clients and to protect the studio space, pets are not allowed in the studio.
Can I bring my pet?
Each mini session includes up to 5 people. If you have a larger group, we recommend booking a full session instead.

Hi, I’m Tabitha Baldwin, the owner, photographer, and creative heart behind Jax Mini Sessions Studio, a natural-light photo studio in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born and raised in Jacksonville Beach, I’m proud to serve the city and surrounding areas through my work as a Jacksonville photographer and studio owner. I opened this space to create a welcoming environment where families, entrepreneurs, and creatives can capture meaningful moments, from family portraits and maternity photos to branding photography and professional headshots.
As both the studio owner and in-house photographer, I’m hands-on in every part of the experience, designing styled sets, guiding clients through their sessions, and helping other photographers make the most of the space. My goal is always to make the process easy, calm, and enjoyable, so you can feel confident and truly seen in every photo.
I’m also a wife and a mom to three amazing kids, which means I understand firsthand how quickly life moves and how important it is to pause and capture it. Whether you’re updating your brand imagery, celebrating your growing family, or booking holiday portraits, I’ll ensure your session feels effortless and authentic from start to finish.

From Jacksonville International Airport (JIA) (Approx. 25 minutes)
Take I-95 South for about 20 miles. Use Exit 344 to get on JTB (FL-202 East / Butler Blvd). From there, take the first exit onto US-1 South / Philips Hwy and turn right. The studio will come up quickly on your right, right after the Shell gas station, in the plaza directly facing Philips Hwy.
From Orange Park (Approx. 25 minutes)
Take I-295 North and merge onto I-95 North. Use Exit 344 to take JTB (FL-202 East / Butler Blvd). From JTB, take the exit for US-1 South / Philips Hwy and turn right. The studio will be on your right, just after the Shell gas station, at the intersection of JTB and Philips Hwy.
From Nocatee (Approx. 25 minutes)
Take Nocatee Parkway west, then merge onto I-295 North. Continue until you reach JTB (FL-202 East) and take that exit. From JTB, exit toward US-1 South / Philips Hwy and turn right onto Philips Hwy. The studio will come up fast on your right, just past the Shell gas station, in the plaza on the corner of JTB and Philips Hwy.
From South Jacksonville Beach (Approx. 20–25 minutes)
Take JTB (FL-202 W) heading west toward I-95. Use the right lane to take the exit for US-1 South / Philips Hwy. Once you merge onto Philips Hwy, stay in the right lane. The studio will come up quickly on your right—just past the Shell gas station, near the intersection of Philips Hwy and JTB. We're in the front right corner of the plaza facing the highway.
