We are thrilled to share the highlights of the grand opening event for Jax Mini Sessions Studio, which took place on Saturday, July 6th, 2024. The day was filled with excitement, creativity, and community as we welcomed our friends, family, and fellow creatives to our new Jacksonville photo studio.

A Special Thank You to Our Vendors

We were honored to have some amazing local vendors join us and contribute to the success of our event:

• Faithful Florals Jax – The ladies from Faithful Florals Jax created the most stunning floral arch decor for our event. It was the perfect opportunity for people to see and feel these luxury faux florals, that actually look and fee like real florals! And it was the perfect backdrop for some photo opportunities!
• St. Johns Mom’s Group – St. Johns Mom’s Group gave one winner an amazing annual membership to The Bar Societé, which is an exclusive membership for women dedicated to raising the bar in every facet of their lives. This is more than just a membership; it’s a journey of elevating friendships, businesses, and personal growth— a commitment to reaching new heights in camaraderie, entrepreneurial endeavors, and overall fulfillment.
• An Unlikely Pear – A fabulous local and online shoe boutique based right here in Jacksonville, Florida. They generously provided a $100 gift certificate for our giveaway.
• Her Espresso– Our guests enjoyed complimentary coffees, thanks to the delightful coffee and latte offerings from Her Espresso.
• Beach Blooms – Everyone loved creating their own beautiful bouquets at the Beach Blooms Flower Wall Bar. It was a huge hit!
• Ten Salon Braid and Curl Bar – Many attendees took advantage of our complimentary braid and curl bar from stylist Brooke, getting their hair styled beautifully. They also gave away a luxury hair care basket and a complimentary blowout from Brooke to one lucky attendee!
• Abarr by Ashley – Ashley was kind enough to lend us her photo booth setup from her Jacksonville Florida photo studio so that attendee’s could create and capture their own photos, boomerangs, and videos on our cyclorama platform.
• Emily’s Edible Creations – We had the CUTEST custom made cookies for our event, and they also gave away an adorable patriotic cookie kit to one of the attendees.
• Nikki’s Custom Cups – Nikki created the cutest Summer Vibes tumbler as a give-away item for the event. A perfect prize for this hot Florida summer!
• Bella’s Dippables – The custom chocolate covered pretzels were not only cute and on-brand, but they were delicious! One lucky attendee even won a box of treats and a $25 gift card for more of their treats!
• A Bounce Above First Coast – The giveaway from A Bounce Above First Coast for a 50% OFF voucher was a huge hit with all the mommas that attended! So fun!

A Special Photographer for a Special Day

One of the most heartwarming aspects of our grand opening was having my 10-year-old daughter, Callie, as our event photographer. Armed with my Fujifilm X100V, she confidently stepped out of her element to capture the essence of the day. It was her first time photographing an event, and she did a fantastic job, bringing her unique perspective and enthusiasm to every shot.

Our studio is a space for all creatives, whether proficient in their craft or just starting out. It’s the perfect space to learn and grow, and my daughter’s experience is a testament to that.
