That’s exactly why we created our newest summer installation at our Jacksonville photo studio!
Inspired by sunshine, salt air, nostalgic beach days, and relaxed coastal living, this setup gives you the feel of beach-inspired summer portraits without having to battle the Florida weather. The entire setup is located inside our air-conditioned, all-white natural light studio in Jacksonville, Florida. This makes sessions easier, more comfortable, and much more predictable during the hottest and rainiest months of the year.

This new installation was intentionally designed to be versatile through warm, interactive, and custom props & set design that allows for sessions to feel natural and fun.

One of our favorite parts of the setup is that the surfboards are completely interactive. They can be removed from the rack and used as props throughout the session, which creates a lot more posing variety and movement than a traditional stationary backdrop.

While the setup works beautifully for many types of sessions, it’s especially great for families with younger children since the surfboards and rack are designed at a more kid-friendly height. However, the surfboards are removable and interactive making them extremely versatile.
